In a press release, they said: “Sports Interactive regrets informing that, after an in -depth internal discussion and special attention with SEGA, we made the decision difficult to cancel Football 25 and go to the next version .
“We know that it will be a huge disappointment, especially since the release date has already evolved twice, and you impatiently anticipate the first revelation of Gameplay.
“We have always been proud to provide the best value for money that brings you countless hours of pleasure, which seem to be worth every moment and every penny that you spend. With the launch of FM25, we decided to create the greatest technical and visual progression of the series for a generation, throwing the constituent elements of a new era.
“Due to various challenges that we have been opened to date, and many other unforeseen events, we have not currently achieved what we have decided to do in enough games of the game, despite the phenomenal efforts of our team . Each decision to delay the release has been made in order to bring the game closer to the desired level, but, while we approached critical milestones at the beginning of the year, it has undoubtedly become clear that we do not reach the norm required, even with the adjusted chronology.
“We could have continued, release FM25 in its current state and fix things below – but it is not the right thing to do. We also did not want to go beyond a walk out because it would be too late in the football season to expect the players then to buy another match later in the year. »»
