The Nottingham Forest has ahead of a tense penalty shootout to see the challenge of Ipswich Town and set aside a quarter -final trip to the FA Cup to face Brighton.

After nine perfect penalties, the taming effort of the substitute of Ipswich was easily saved by Matz Salts to start the passionate celebrations of the bench and the forest stands.

After a dull 45 first minutes, George Hirst scored his third goal of the season to put Ipswich forward, heading without scoring at the extreme post of a corner.

The Ryan Yates forest skipper quickly equalized, meeting an Anthony Elaga crossing in the middle with an intelligent header.

Yates hit the back of the net with another header, but he was offside before Callum Hudson-Odoi hit the bar.

The two parties rested their main attackers with Chris Wood and Liam Delap gave free time, but both came and marked in a shooting full of brilliant penalties until Taylor rises.

Forest won his four penalty shootings in FA Cup – with only Macclesfield Town and Stevenage with a better record.

Ipswich was the last in the quarter -final in 1993 and the wait continued, while the beautiful season of Forest continues on two fronts.
