Several large on the temple of renown and NFL have been named MVP of the Super Bowl over the years. Patrick Mahomes was the MVP of each Super Bowl he won. Meanwhile, Tom Brady won five MVP prizes from the Super Bowl.
Simultaneously, some less known people surprised everyone and had the best game of their life in the Super Bowl. The former secondary of Seattle Seahawks, Malcolm Smith, who has never done a pro Bowl and played for six different teams, was appointed MVP of the Super Bowl XLVIII after having recorded a pick-six, a pampered recovery and ten tackles . The defensive back Dexter Jackson, who has never won the All-Pro or Pro Bowl honors, is another player who was named MVP of the Super Bowl despite not having had a stellar career outside the big game.
Anything can happen in the Super Bowl. While Mahomes and Saquon Barkley could end up being the most precious player in the game, there are a few individuals in both teams that could stun NFL fans and be named MVP.
Here are four Dark Horse candidates who can win the MVP honors of the Super Bowl Lix.
Dallas Goedert, te. Eagles
It is not a secret that I was high Dallas GOEDERT Since Philly hit her ticket for the Super Bowl Lix. He is fifth of the playoff series in the reception yards (188) and the second of receptions (15). These are its figures among all the passing sensors in the playoffs. When it only looks at the tight ends, it is second in receptions, second in the first stockings and first in the reception yards.
Goenert had a regular season down, but it was because he missed time due to an injury. Although he only played in ten regular season games, he still managed to make 42 captures for 496 reception yards and two affected, which is equivalent to 49.6 yards per game. Although it doesn’t look much, it ranks sixth among all the tight ends of the NFL this season. What is even crazier is that the other five tight ends which have on average more yards per match than him have all been named in Pro Bowl.
Although Kansas City did a good job to contain the tight ends of the Buffalo Bills, this was not the case when they played Houston’s Texans. The tight ends of Houston were only targeted five times in the division tour, but they captured these five passes for 65 reception yards. No lack of respect for Dalton Schultz and IRV Smith Jr., but I think Dallas Goedert is a much more serious threat of reception than one of these guys.
With two weeks of preparation and a defense of the chiefs which allows 20.5% of all the passing sites to go to the tight ends, I think that Dallas GoedEder could be a large part of the Philly offensive if they end up with Win this Sunday.
Kareem Hunt, RB. Chiefs
The wide recruit receiver, Xavier Worthy, was my other choice for the MVP Dark Horse Offensive Chiefs, but I don’t really think anyone is all that is shocked if Worthy ends up being named the most precious player in the game. Leads KC in the receptions of these qualifying series and is second by receiving yards behind Travis Kelce.
Given the average of the playoffs, I think Kareem Hunt would be a much more surprising MVP winner.
During his eighth year as a pro, the chief of the cunning construction sites of the 2017 NFL was signed in the chiefing team in September after starting the ball carrier Isiah Pacheco fractured his foliage during the second week. Although Pacheco has returned to action in the week 13, he has not looked the same since then, with an average of only 29.3 yards on the ground per game during his last seven departures.
With Pacheco in difficulty, Hunt was the Bell-Cow of Kansas City. He has an average of 54 yards and one touch per game in the playoffs. Keep in mind, he set up these figures against the Texans (classified first against the race in the playoffs) and the Bills (classified sixth against the race in the playoffs).
Since the Eagles abandon 4.5 yards by attempted soldier, I could see Kareem Hunt do more than 90 yards and two touched on the ground this weekend. If Patrick Mahomes is held within 220 yards by the pass and only one touched, Hunt’s performance should be good enough to win the MVP honors.
Reed blankenship, db. Eagles
The defense of the Eagles is absolutely stacked. The defensive line player Jalen Carter has become one of the most dominant players in the league with an astonishing total of 20 pressures in total in the playoffs. The second Zack Baun played as a candidate of defensive player of the year with 26 plated in total, a forced escape, an interception and two escaped recovery.
I could see one of those guys potentially named the MVP of the Super Bowl Lix. However, the defensive back Reed Blankenship could come out of nowhere and be named the most useful player in the game.
Blankenship has 24 plated in total in playoffs, the fourth among all players and the second largest number among the security. According to Pro Football Focus, he also has granted only seven receptions In the playoffs, the third most of the 49 safety in the playoffs. To top it up, he forced an escape against the Packers of Green Bay and made a crucial recovery in the NFC championship match.
His line of statistics has been great, and he will have to reproduce this type of performance in the Super Bowl if he wants to win MVP.
I expect him to accumulate several plated. After all, he has an average of eight plated in total per game in the playoffs. Unfortunately, making a lot of plated will not be enough to win it MVP from the Super Bowl. Blankenship will have to provoke at least a turnover (either a forced escape, recovery or interception) and record at least half-bag if he wants to be named the most precious player in the game.
Nick Bolton, LB. Chiefs
The defensive line player Chirs Jones has been the best defender in Kansas City for several years now. He was named All-Pro six times while winning the honors of the Pro Bowl six times. He obtains a large part of the credit and attention for the success of the chiefs, and rightly so! But the second Nick Bolton was an unknown hero for KC.
As a recruit, Bolton recorded 112 plated in total. Then, in 2022 – when the chiefs started this series of three consecutive appearances of the Super Bowl – it increased its tackle outing to 180 during the regular season (second in the NFL). Although he missed several games in 2023, he led all the players in total of the plated in the last season with 40.
Bolton might not direct the chiefs in plates of this qualifying series, but he played 135 defensive snaps, which is the Seventh total Snaps Among 53 seconds in playoffs, according to Pff. The fact that he played a main candidate for him to be MVP so much.
He will have to go after the quarter if he wants to be the most useful player of the Super Bowl Lix. Fortunately, he showed the ability to precipitate the smuggler. Among the seconds of the playoffs, it is sixth in pass and fourth in terms of total pressures.
Bolton should be better in the cover of the pass, however. Although he played the seventh of the cover clichés among the seconds in the playoffs, he ranks 32nd in the authorized passer note.
Similarly to Reed Blankenship, Nick Bolton will probably record many plated. I could see him have at least six plated in total. If he returns the quarter of Philly once or twice and also records some passes struck, he will have a solid case to be the MVP of the Super Bowl.
