The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) granted Thursday to the president Andrew Ferguson The authority had to comply with the executive orders of President Donald Trump who reduced DEI programs in federal agencies.

On the same day, Ferguson presented a series of actions to serve the FTC of initiatives related to the DEI at the FTC. On Thursday, the FTC approved the request with a vote of 2-1-2, giving President Ferguson the authority necessary to do exactly that. Commissioners Rebecca K. Slaughter and Lina Mr. Khan did not participate in the vote.
