The Georgia Southern Eagles (8-4) will face the Sam Houston Bearkats (9-3) Thursday night in the 2024 New Orleans Bowl. The game will take place at Caesars Superdome, with kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m. ET.
Under coach Clay Helton, the Eagles secured their third straight bowl appearance. However, they have yet to taste victory with their previous two bowl games, the 2022 Camellia Bowl and 2023 Myrtle Beach, ending in defeats. However, they have some momentum heading into this game, winning against Appalachian State in the regular season finale.
