Fellow Premier League side Fulham hosted Championship visitors Watford, while second-tier sides Sheffield United and Cardiff City met at Bramall Lane.

Everton v Peterborough

Manager Leighton Baines and captain Seamus Coleman took charge of Everton following Dyche’s departure, overseeing their first FA Cup goal this season thanks to Beto’s composed finish from Harrison Armstrong’s pass.

Orel Mangala had already volleyed against the post for the home side, and Iliman Ndiaye scored a penalty in injury time to cap off their 2-0 victory. Peterborough are now winless in six matches, losing five times along the way.

Fulham vs Watford: the chalets pass

After Rodrigo Muniz scored from an Adama Traore cross to give Fulham a 26th-minute lead, Rocco Vata scored what is sure to be one of the goals of the round with a 30-yard equalizer seven minutes later .

Joachim Andersen volleyed, Raul Jimenez scored his third penalty in five days and Timothy Castagne headed in Martial Godo’s cross as the hosts won 4-1 to hand Watford a fourth successive defeat.

Sheffield United vs Cardiff: Ashford goal wins draw

Third in the ranking second levelSheffield United are 29 points clear of second-placed Cardiff but the Bluebirds scored the only goal of the game when Cian Ashford gained possession in a dangerous area and came on after 19 minutes.

Harrison Burrows went close for the Blades, curling a shot against a post late on as his side slipped to a third defeat in five games.
