The sky is the limit for Hoda Kotb after his recent Today show the output.
Kotb, 60 years old, auction a tearful farewell on the NBC morning show on January 10. After nearly 30 years of working for the network, the TV personality plans to enter the wellness space by launching her own wellness-focused business and apps.
“She will earn much more than at the beginning Today show,” shares a source exclusively in the latest issue of Us every week. “Now that she’s no longer working full-time at NBC, Hoda will be working with brands and may get paid to support them. She could also earn several hundred thousand dollars giving talks on topics such as “changing your life at 60.”
Kotb announced that she “build a wellness app and business” during a January 6 appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Showsharing, “[It will] involve retreats and a podcast and all sorts of things we can put together [and do] … It’s not like going to Mexico with your daughters, which is fun, but something that when you leave you’ll be like, ‘Oh my God, I feel transformed.’ I feel different.’

In an interview with Page six Earlier this month, Kotb also revealed that she had signed a new deal to become a special envoy for Today and NBC, which notably covers the next two Olympic Games. “I want to be a supporting character in an already established team so I can play a role there. And then I’m going to do my podcast ‘Making Space,’ which I enjoy and love so much,” she told the outlet. “And for the Today show, I think we talked about doing something every four to six weeks, just a little something.
The source explained Kotb’s new role within the network, saying We that “she will focus on positive stories that interest her, such as women’s empowerment”, and will appear on Today “about 10 times” per year. “There are no limits,” notes the insider.

The exes, who announced their separation after eight years together in January 2022, recently we spent Christmas together with their children and gathered to celebrate Haley’s birthday on January 9.
