The Manchester United striker, Rasmus Hojlund, admits that he was disappointed with the dismissal of Erik Ten Hag but admits that he is enthusiastic by the future under Ruben Amorim.
The Red Devils separated from Ten Hag in October 2024 after a bad start to the season, appointing Amorim as its replacement.
Ten Hag had been in charge of Old Trafford for two and a half years, guaranteeing the Carabao Cup and the FA Cup during its mandate.
However, despite significant investments in the team, he could not constitute a team capable of arguing seriously for the title of Premier League.
United now turns to Amorim to bring the club back to the top. The Portuguese coach encountered difficulties early, struggling to improve the results as he sails in a permanent injury crisis.
Currently, the team is in 13th place in the League. Hojlund, brought to the club under the direction of Ten Hag, recognized his disappointment in the face of the departure of the Dutchman but is impatient to work under Amorim.

Addressing Tipsbladet, Hojlund said: “I focus on the task with Ruben, because this project is incredibly exciting, but Erik was of course one of the reasons why I moved to Manchester United.
“He was doing something good and was a talented coach, but it didn’t work, and that’s how it is. I am always very happy to be in Manchester United.
“This is the club I always dreamed of playing. And I’m really happy for Ruben. He is a cool character and a cool person. “
Hojlund recently broke a drought of 21 games for Manchester United. His goal in 3-0 victory against Leicester scored his first for the club since December 7, when he scored against Nottingham Forest.
The Danish striker is currently in international service with Denmark for his quarter -final matches of the Nations League against Portugal.
After the break, United will resume his Premier League campaign with an outside match at Nottingham Forest City Ground as they seek to finish the strong season under their new manager.
