
The son of a Scottish woman who was found dead with her husband in France said that his family was crying for the couple’s loss.
The son of Mrs. Searle, the Hollyoaks and the actor of Netflix Callum Kerr, has published a declaration on social networks On behalf of the four shared children of the couple.
The bodies of Andrew and Dawn Searle, who were in sixties, were discovered by a neighbor on Thursday at their home in the southwest of France. They moved to the Scotland region a decade ago.
The local mayor, Jean-Sébastien Orcibal, Tell on French television that deaths were “clearly a homicide”.

Mr. Kerr appeared in the Virgin river in Netflix and played PC Kiss in Hollyoaks.
He also published a number of country songs.

The 30 -year -old man traveled his mother in the aisle as she married Mr. Searle during a ceremony in France in 2023.
On social networks, he wrote at the time: “Few people can say that they have traveled their own mother in the aisle. What a pleasure. I love you mom.”
Body found by the neighbor
Thursday, the couple’s bodies were found around 12:20 at their home in the hamlet of Les Pesquiès, in a rural area north of the city of Toulouse.
The discovery was made by a neighbor, who went to check them when they failed to introduce themselves for a planned walk for dogs.
The area around their detached house has been sealed while the investigations take place, and the local police called the Expert Aid in Toulouse.
Legal medicine agents spent on Thursday searching crime, with a helicopter, a drone, criminal investigation technicians and a judicial doctor deployed on the site.
No criminal case has been opened so far, and the police affirms that there is no favorite theory on the death of the couple.


Mr. Orcibal, who represents the Villefranche-de-Rouergue region, told BBC News that the cause of death was not yet clear.
He had previously rejected the speculation that deaths were due to a burglary “which went wrong” and declared “no knife was found”.
Orcibal also said that the couple had become “very well integrated” in the village and used to regularly invite neighbors, including many expatriates, for a drink.
According to his LinkedIn page, Mr. Searle had worked in the prevention of financial crime in companies such as Standard Life and Barclays Bank during his career.
Ms. Searle grew up in Eyyeth in Scottish borders, and Mr. Searle was from England.
The couple – who were in sixties – lived in Musselburgh, near Edinburgh, before moving to Les Pesquiès, south of Villefranche -de -Rouergue.
A spokesperson for the UK Foreign Affairs Bureau said: “We support the family of a British couple who died in France and ensure local authorities.”
