We’re almost a month into 2025, and it’s time for another flagship smartphone announcement. Samsung first Galaxy Unpacked event is scheduled for January 22 and, like previous years, you will be able to watch it from home.

All signs point to the event, including the launch of A user interface 7 and a new range of Galaxy S25 phones (including Ultra, Plus and standard models) at the very least. It’s more or less guaranteed that the new phones will use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and sport some design changes and new colors. One UI 7 was technically already announced during a Samsung Developer Event in 2024but Unpacked should allow the company to delve further into the details of how the operating system overhaul will actually impact the use of the company’s new devices.

Beyond that, Galaxy AI will be highlighted, based on Samsung’s original announcement of the event, and it seems possible that the company could include an update on its portable devices and more information on Project Moohan, the headset he is developing for Google Android XR Platform.

The event begins at 1 p.m. ET / 10 a.m. PT in person in San Jose and online everywhere else. If you plan to watch, you can find a stream at Samsung.comIn Samsung Press Roomor watch it right here in the YouTube video below.
