HP announced a multitude of products at its amplify conference this week, most of which go refreshments to the vaguely new models. But an update that is worth discussed is the Hyperx Cloud 3 S without wireless, successor to the popular and excellent Cloud 3 Wireless, just like the addition of a new $ 80 Cloud Jet Dual Wireless Line helmet.

Cloud 3 adds Bluetooth in addition to 2.4 GHz wirelessly on the old Wireless Cloud 3which allows Hyperx also increase the lifespan of its battery: it indicates the same 120 hours as the old model when connected via the dongle for 2.4 GHz, but because Bluetooth draws less power, Hyperx now assesses it at 200 hours when using Bluetooth. Like many cheaper double helmets, the Cloud 3 S can only switch between Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz, not using them simultaneously. One of the major drawbacks of this is that you cannot monitor the notifications on your phone while it is connected to your computer – just ring it and pick up and control calls. It seems identical to the old model.

The cloud jet dual works the same way, but the new helmet is in the input / step level, with the same aesthetic as the Diron Models. He has typical specifications for his class, including a battery life of 20 to 25 hours, ear cushions in mesh foam and 40 mm drivers. In a deviation from the padded headband typical of Hyperx, it incorporates a design of elastic ski suspension in the shape of steelséries.
