Harry Kane says he wants to win the Ballon d’Or and thinks he can once he has started winning trophies with Bayern Munich.
The goals of the captain of England this season for Bayern fired them at the edge of the title of Bundesliga while they are also in the quarterfinals of the Champions League.
“The simple fact of being in a club like Bayern Munich helped me push me even more, in terms of confidence and in terms of responsibility,” he said.
“I feel like I have certainly improved, I improved, and maybe” the aura “of me as a player is a little more respected than it has been in the past, because you play in big games, big nights.
“I felt that last season too, I scored more than 40 goals, but obviously, I was never going to win the Ballon d’Or because we did not win the team’s trophies.
“Winning the World Cup is up there, at the top of the list” 🤩

“These opportunities are there. This is probably what I mean in terms of more respect in the world, on the biggest scene.
“For something like that, you have to win enough team trophies to be taken into account in this and probably score 40 goals, but it’s a possibility this season.
“It is certainly something that I would like to try to achieve.”
The 31 -year -old is the record goalscorer of England with 69 and shows no signs of slowdown while the glory mission of the 2026 World Cup under Thomas Tuchel begins with the opening match against Albania on Friday evening.
Kane says people would always be delicious about him if he was younger, but they “bored” by his goals.
“It’s like when Ronaldo and Messi threw these crazy figures and the following season, they would score 40 goals instead of 50 and it was as if they had a bad season,” he said.
“People are holding for granted and perhaps also a little with England. I have scored 69 goals and when you score against Albania or Latvia, or these teams, people expect it so that it is not much spoken.
“Let’s say that if I was 25 now and I do what I do, excitement around me would perhaps be a little different from what it is now.
“Once again, that is part of the place where we are with football and I saw it with other players as they enter in their thirties.
“Maybe people are bored a bit of what you do, but I certainly don’t get bored. I am excited for these games and the games to come.”
