Nyambe primarily worked as a humanitarian and educator in the village, helping to provide food and shelter to young residents. She has also documented her work through YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, amassing over 4 million followers.
A teacher who worked with Nyambe’s organization confirmed his death in a TikTok video shared earlier this week.

“I am officially announcing the loss of my beloved CEO, Principal, Principal and Founder of Footprints of Hope School, who passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2024,” she said. “Our sister will be buried here in Mapapa, at Footprints of Hope School. …Thank you very much for everything.
Nyambe’s funeral will take place at Mapapa village in Mukushi, Zambia on Monday, December 30.

Nyambe’s cause of death has not been made public.
Nyambe had previously moved to Zambia to open a boarding school thanks to his non-profit organization Footprints of Hope.
“I arrived at Mapapa village while waiting for my visa to be approved. I needed to renew my visa to visit. It is [my friend’s] village,” she said in an October statement Instagram video. “When I arrived here, I saw that there were a lot of children who were receiving [sexually assaulted]there were many children who had babies; there’s just a lot of bad things happening. …I decided to stay.
Nyambe built four schools to accommodate more than 500 children.
“That’s why I keep having more and more children,” she added. “I know it’s very confusing to say, ‘Let me send this child away,’ ‘I can’t accommodate you,’ or ‘I can’t do this.’ It’s very difficult for me because there are a lot of children in the village, but I don’t have the resources for that.
