After more than 15 months of war, Israel and Hamas have agreed to a deal to end fighting in Gaza, free nearly 100 hostages still held by Hamas and hundreds of Palestinian prisoners in Israel. President Biden said the agreement would take effect on Sunday and would take place in three phases, with Hamas releasing 33 hostages in the first phase. NBC News’ Richard Engel reports on the deal and the reaction in Israel and Gaza.
