On Friday, Israel said that one of the four bodies returned by Hamas a day earlier was not that of Shiri Bibas, mother of the two young boys whose body was handed over on Thursday. Israel said he had identified his children, KFIR and Ariel – The youngest hostages taken by Hamas on October 7, 2023 – and accused the militant group of having killed them.
