Long-time solar company Jackery is improving the roof situation in the United States with the introduction of XBC curved solar shingles. Introduced at CES 2025, Jackery’s curved solar tiles are available in terracotta or obsidian, designed to fit some of the country’s most common home styles. Although solar shingles already exist in the United States, they are the first to feature a wavy aesthetic. The new tiles offer a cell conversion efficiency of more than 25 percent and are designed to withstand extreme weather conditions, including hail, high winds and temperatures between -40 degrees F and 185 degrees F. There’s no word yet on specific pricing or availability of the new panels, although Jackery was heavily promoting them at CES 2025.
