Harry Kane’s contract with Bayern Munich would include a liberation clause that could open the way for a return to England in the future.

A Bild report claims that the clause authorized an exit of 67 million pounds sterling this winter and will increase to 54 million pounds Sterling next winter.

Despite this, Kane would be very happy in Germany and has no immediate plan to use the clause.

The Premier League clubs are however aware of his presence, potentially opening the door on his return to English football over the whole line.

Kane signed a four -year contract with Bayern in August 2023 after a transfer of 100 million sterling pounds from Tottenham.

As part of the agreement, the Spurs obtained a first option clause if Bayern decided to sell Kane and if the striker wishes to return to his former club, where he became the top scorer of all time over 13 years .

This first option agreement does not include fixed costs, which means that Tottenham should either trigger the Kane Liberation Clause, or negotiate a new price with Bayern.

If another club activates the liberation clause, the Spurs should decide to match the offer in the hope of attracting the 31 -year -old young man in the north of London.

Since his move to Bayern, Kane has been prolific, scoring 70 goals in 72 appearances and becoming the fastest player to score 50 goals in the Bundesliga in November – exceeding the previous record of Erling Haaland.

He is also on the right track to ensure his first major trophy, Bayern leading the Bundesliga of six points.

Nevertheless, Kane could possibly feel the attraction of returning to England, especially since it is only 47 shy goals of the Alan Shearer score record in the Premier League, having already raised 213 goals.

Bild reports that Bayern is already preparing for Kane’s potential, with current discussions concerning the possible movements for Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig and Viktor Gyokerres de Sporting.
