Kane stars as Bayern Munich ease through alongside Barcelona and Inter Milan

Harry Kane scored one and helped the other while Bayern Munich filled a convincing global victory over Bayer Leverkusen this evening with a 2-0 victory in the Bayarena.

By dragging 3-0 from the first stage last week, he needed something special by Xabi Alonso’s men to see them until the Champions League quarterfinals.

But it never seemed likely that the outside side dominates from the start.

Kane saw an early cry for a penalty agitated before Michael Olise made a just wide shot.

Kane marks at the time to forget for Schick

Captain of England Kane, however, found the target of seven minutes in the second half. Patrik Schick de Leverkusen missed his kick and Kane did the rest, mastering him before pulling in front of Lukas Hradecky.

Schick won its lines at the other end after 68 minutes, heading directly to the goalkeeper of Bayern Jonas Urbig at close range.

And the Czech international was paid because, four minutes later, a brilliant pass from Kane chose Alphonso Davies and he did not make a mistake with a superb finish.

Jamal Musiala hit the post twice while Bayern was threatening to run Riot, but that doesn’t matter when Vincent Kompany’s men released 5-0 on the aggregates.

No drama for inter

Bayern will face Inter Milan afterwards after the Italian team finished a global 4-1 victory against Feyenoord with a 2-1 victory in San Siro.

Marcus Thuram and Hakan Calhanoglu marked for Inter, the latter from the penalty point, on each side of a kick of Moder Jakub.

At the start of the kick -off, Barcelona produced a polished display to see Benfica 3-1, 4-1 on aggregate.

Raphinha scored twice for Barça with the Lamine Yamal by adding another.

Nicolas Otamendi had previously given a brief hope of Benfica by canceling the opening of Raphinha.
