The Kenya Sengwer community is one of the last to live in the emblem forest, in the North Rift Valley. But the government accuses this indigenous people of harming the forest and asked them to leave. Hundreds of families have been expelled. The Sengwer, whose ancestral lifestyle is threatened, accuses the authorities of deliberately burn their homes and refuse to leave.
