FOX Business host Larry Kudlow discusses the House Speaker debate on “Kudlow.”
Let’s quickly re-elect President Mike Johnson to advance the Trumpian workers’ boom agenda at lightning speed. That’s what the riff is about.
Last Monday, President Donald Asset has issued resounding support for President Mike Johnson’s re-election.
On Truth Social, Mr. Trump wrote: “The American people need IMMEDIATE relief from all of the destructive policies of the last administration. President Mike Johnson is a good, hardworking and religious man. He will do the right thing, and we will continue to WIN. Mike has my complete and utter approval!!!”
Then, on New Year’s Eve, on his way to his gala at Mar-a-Lago, Mr. Trump reiterated his support for President Johnson. Listen:
IRS SETS NEW TAX SLABS AND INCREASES STANDARD DEDUCTION FOR 2025
Fox News contributor Newt Gingrich weighs in on the House Speaker debate ahead of President-elect Trump’s inauguration on “Kudlow.”
DONALD ATTOUT: “Oh, I think they’ll support President Johnson. I think we’re going to have a good time in Washington and I think we’re going to get great support. He’s the one who can win right now. People will like.” Almost everyone likes it. »
Add former President Newt Gingrich to the list of Johnson’s supporters, who said in an interview that Republicans should waste no time with an ugly floor brawl and that the Republican Party must support the outgoing president: “They have need a program of republican unity for the next two years.”
A number of GOP luminaries have endorsed Mike Johnson for speaker — and with pleasure, let me add my name to the list. It is favorable for growth on the supply side. tax cuts. He is a tough hawk when it comes to closing the border, stopping Biden’s flood of illegal immigration, and stamping out terrorism here at home. He is a man of public order. He is in favor of “drill, baby, drill” and believes in Trump’s foreign policy, “America first”, “peace through strength”.
In other words, President Johnson is a common-sense conservative and has proven himself to be incredibly accessible to the media. Tomorrow, the House will convene to open the 119th Congress with the election of the Speaker of the House as the first item on the agenda.
I remind people that on Monday, January 6, the House must vote to certify the presidential election, but without a president, the House cannot certify. If the House, as well as the Senate, cannot certify, then President-elect Trump may not become President Trump on January 20. Think about it! So it’s not a waste of time. The Republican House and Senate should get started.
According to senior advisers close to President Trump, he wants to see “a big, beautiful bill” on his desk, from both houses of Congress, as quickly as possible. This bill would include tax cuts, border closures, reforms and authorization of fossil fuels, and a strengthening of the “peace through strength” defense.
During the campaign, Mr. Trump’s working-class coalition was repeatedly promised bigger wallets, higher take-home pay, tax cuts, cheaper energy, closed borders , etc. Promises made, promises kept. A big, beautiful reconciliation bill to combine all fiscal policy issues – requiring only a 51-vote Republican Senate majority.

Let the blue-collar boom begin immediately. The House has already passed HR1. on energy, and HR2. on immigration. Congressman Jason Smith’s Ways and Means Committee has been working on Trumpian tax cuts for most of the last year.
Senator Mike Crapo is ready to propose a major tax cut from his Senate Finance Committee. The entire bill could pass before midyear and would help President Trump fulfill his overwhelming mandate for change.
