Yesterday, I made an easier and easier cruise, in pleasant weather. Outing on the Coyote Creek path to the place where it is flooded recent rains, then south towards Gilroy on the slightly traveled country roads on the east side of the valley. During my warm -up, I had a mental delay and I almost drove at the back of a trailer parked because I dreamed instead of looking at where I was going. I kicked out and I came to a panic stop, but I lost my balance and I fell in slow motion. No harm. The cool part was that two separate drivers of the vans stopped to make sure I was going well. It is nice to remember that there are many nice people in the world.

When I go for my rides, my wife always says “Have fun, be very careful” and I promise I will do it. I think we will have to change it to “extratewing”. No more reverie at 15 MPH!

The Ford flooded on the Coyote Creek trail. If this season is typical, it will probably not be clear before May. Fortunately, there are detours if you want to go further north.
