I’m sharing a little recap of the year and what I’m working on in 2025.
Hello friends! Happy New Year! Any plans this evening? We eat Indian food and light fireworks in our pajamas. No crazy plans and I’m so happy lol. I can’t wait to go to bed early and go on a family hike in the morning!
It’s funny because I thought the last year of the Pilot’s military career would be the LONGEST year of my life. I thought it would be a painfully slow drag to the finish line. The reality is that this year has flown by. I can’t believe he’s wrapping up, he’s changed command, and we’re getting ready for his retirement ceremony at the end of the month. Lots of huge changes coming.
This year has been a year of glorious travel, fun times with the kids (who are growing up too fast. Liv turns 13 next week!!!), time with friends, events, family time at home , time in nature and a huge year for my healing journey. I celebrated a symptom-free year last year due to eye issues and autoimmune symptoms and I feel so grateful to have had a year where I really got my routine down and felt the absolute best in years (decades???). I created a free ebook about my autoimmune journey here and things that have helped me if you want to take a look!
A look back at 2024 and my goals for 2025

Professional summary:
From a Integrative health practitioner From that perspective, it’s been a year filled with learning, expansion, and customer success. It was so amazing to see their wins, and I reviewed over 100 lab tests this year! I won the 100 day challenge for EquiLife in October (#7! Woop!) and a Winner of the Top Five IHP Champion last spring. I was also invited to participate in the Centurion program and a three-month training with 15 other IHPs and EquiLife faculty to take our laboratory analysis to the next level. From there, I was able to start reading labs for EquiLife clients in addition to my own.
I feel so lucky every day to be part of this company with an incredible mission and inspiring people behind it. I can’t wait to see what IHP what he has in store for us next year!!
I feel superstitious saying this, but the blog had the best year in ad revenue in at least 5 years. My SEO team has been working hard behind the scenes and we are really starting to see the results of their efforts. My goal is always to post fun, personal articles here (the types I’d like to read), in addition to helpful, SEO-focused content, because that’s what attracts new readers to the blog.
The podcast has continued to do well, but one of my goals is to put more energy into the pod, release more episodes, and grow in the new year. Another goal is to publish more on LTKbecause I love sharing outfits and gift ideas.
In terms of sponsorship, this year I worked with a company that I admire and love: NOW Food. I am very grateful for their continued partnership and to continue working together in 2025. I receive sponsorship offers every day, but I decline almost all of them because they are for companies and products that do not align with my values or who do not sell. products that I don’t use or don’t like. I will never promote a business on the blog that I don’t 100% love and support.
I am also grateful to affiliate partners, including Nutrisense, EquiVie, IHP, Sakara, Higher DOSE, Cafe Danger, Organization, A skin, ButcheryBox, Rowing, Canopy, Somavedic, Air doctor, Vivarays, Pvolveand to all of you who shop through my links. It directly supports our family (and helps keep this little blog going), and I really appreciate it. I also started working with Oliveda And wave of life This year; two companies that I am extremely passionate about!
This month was the last month of Fit Team workouts as we design my new signature program. This is a 6-month program including functional lab tests, supplements and protocols, and personalized recommendations to help you feel your best. It’s basically the culmination of everything I’ve learned, used with my own clients, but also myself, to radically transform our health and energy levels. I can’t wait to share with you in early February!
Personal and health goals:
My health goal is to continue working on the habits that make me feel better, like quarterly detoxes, smart supplements, restorative practices, nutrition, walks, workouts (I like a mix weight training, barre, spin, Pilates and hot yoga) and stress management. My goal is to minimize toxins as much as possible, fill in the deficiencies, and continue to use functional laboratory testing as a great tool. I’m proud of myself for taking charge of my health and getting to the root cause of what I was experiencing, and for being able to share everything I’ve learned along the way.
Keep practicing Spanish! This year, I started working with an Italki tutor to perfect my skills, and as we return to Spain this year, I would like to have more confidence in Spanish. (I studied Spanish and can understand it perfectly, but I’m not 100% sure I speak it.)
Return to Bible study. after giving up in the spring. I had just started working with EquiLife clients and was so excited to make as many calls as possible! Now that I know how to use the platform a little better and can block out Bible study time, I would like to make it a priority again.
Continue to be the best mom, wife and friend I can be. I want the people in my life to know how much I love them and to lead each day with a grateful, patient, loving heart. Some days are harder than others lol, but a morning gratitude check-in really impacts how I feel about the rest of the day.
I’d love to hear about your year and your goals! What are you proud of over the past year, what are you working on at the moment? Do you have health goals? Travel plans? I want to hear everything!
Have a happy new year and see you soon!
xoxo
