Luke Littler has told fans he is ready and refreshed to take on Ian White in the third round of the PDC World Darts Championship on Saturday.
In a message hours before his return to action after a week’s break, Littler described his Christmas festivities as “quality.”
“Now it’s time to get back to it,” added the 17-year-old, who is the bookies’ favorite for the title behind defending champion Luke Humphries.

The sporting sensation posted a photo of himself taking part in a special edition of the popular darts TV show Bullseye on Tuesday.
To promote the episode, which aired on Christmas Day, Littler appeared on screen alongside former England cricketer Freddie Flintoff.
“I can never get enough darts on TV, that’s for sure,” he said. “I loved being part of the Bullseye Christmas Special… Merry Christmas everyone.”
What time is Luke Littler vs. Ian White?
Littler’s showdown with White, who is a huge underdog, is set to begin after 9:30 p.m. GMT on Saturday, December 28, 2024.
The 54-year-old world number 57 claimed he regularly beat Littler’s grandfather Phil during his early days in the sport in Runcorn, where Littler was born.

Three-time champion Michael van Gerwen takes center stage just before Littler and White, meeting Brendan Dolan.
Littler beat fellow Englishman Ryan Meikle 3-1 on December 21 to reach this stage of the tournament.
