James Maddison marked his injury return with the opening of the 13th minute to Tottenham against Manchester United Sunday – and the former Red Devils captain Gary Neville was not impressed by the defense of visitors.
The Maddison playmaker interrupted when the goalkeeper Andre Onana could only pierry by Lucas Bergvall on his way in Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Tottenham vs Manchester United: Garnacho Blunders

James Maddison statistics
Maddison contributed eight goals and three assists in 16 first league departures this season, which makes the sensitivity of 28 years to injuries all the more painful for the Manager Ange Postoclou.
The former midfielder of England scored and set a goal during the 3-2 Europa League of Tottenham victory at the German club Hoffenheim on January 23, but then missed five games in all competitions with a strain of calf.
His arrival against United brought Maddison to 10 goals and six assists in 32 appearances in 2024, captain of the Spurs once in the Premier League, Europa League and FA Cup.
Maddison had never scored during 12 previous games with United in his career, although he recorded two assists against them for the former Leicester City club.
