Tottenham won a 3-0 vital victory over Ellsborg to win the fourth place in his group Europa League, guaranteeing an automatic berth in the last 16.
What had been initially a frustrating evening for the side of Ango Postecoglou turned into a joyful opportunity while three graduates of the academy – Dane Scarlett, Damola Ajayi and Mikey Moore – scored their first goals for the club in One last last minute.
The Spurs dominated possession from the start, but chances of clear cut were at a bonus in the first half.
Heung-min, son, making his 50th European appearance for the club, provided the most brilliant moments, creating Pope Matar Sarr and Moore for the best efforts of the Spurs.
Despite their control – with a possession of 81% – Tottenham entered the break that has not been passed, Ellsborg offering little threat in return.
Postcoglou presented Dejan Kulusevski at halftime, and its impact was revealing. The breakthrough arrived in the 70th minute when Kulusevski whispered a superb cross for Scarlett, who propelled a head at home for his first senior objective of the Spurs.

Barely 14 minutes later, the beginner Ajayi doubled his head, exchanging passes with Scarlett before slipping into the area. The night was crowned deep in the stop time while Moore stole the possession, headed for the goal and coldly finished low in the net.
And Postcoglou was praise for his young cohort after the match.
He said, “Really happy. The goal was to try to win today and secure our place in the top eight. I thought the boys were good, controlled the game and we were never really threatened. We had to wait for our time when they were deep, but they abandoned this at the end to continue the match and the goals came.
“”[The victory was] Made in Tottenham tonight. I am very happy for young boys, and we should not lose sight of the fact that we also had some more teenagers. I’m sure these three guys don’t sleep tonight. We needed something tonight and the young guys intensified.
“We have another big week to come, so the changes at halftime were to manage the charge. We still made an injury with Radu [Dragusin] Which is not great, but the three half-time guys are good.
“”[On Dragusin’s injury] It is too early to say what it is, we will have to investigate in Fun. But it was his knee that is not good.
“We have another match on Sunday. The club will work hard behind the scenes to see if we can do something. »»
