The defender of Manchester City Ruben Dias remains optimistic about the chances of his team to win silverware despite what he describes as their “most difficult” season.
The Pep Guardiola team will face the Real Madrid Resist Champions on Tuesday in their Champions League match match on Tuesday.
This occurs after City finished 22nd in the group phase, a setback that they now hope to overcome against current holders.
A victory on both legs would get a place in the last 16, where they would face Atletico Madrid or Bayer Leverkusen.
However, City also encountered difficulties in their interior campaign, currently being fifth in the Premier League and the 15 -point Liverpool train leaders.
“It was the most difficult season since I was here, but I am firmly convinced that even in the most difficult moments, you can always do something beautiful,” said Dias.
“I did not spend a second to think if it was disrespectful” 🤷️

“We know how difficult it will be to pass, but we have a lot of rifles in the locker room. We just have to use them in the right way. »»
This marks the fourth consecutive season – and the fifth in six years – that City and Madrid clashed during the direct elimination of the Champions League.
The Spanish giants won the victory via penalties in the quarter -final last season before winning their 15th European title under Carlo Ancelotti.
The two teams that won two meetings each in previous meetings, Guardiola described their rivalry as one of the most important in the era of the modern Champions League.
This next match also comes following the controversy, while Madrid players boycotted the Golden Ball ceremony after Rodri received the title of the best player in the world on Vinicius Jr.
City would have considered the absence of Madrid as a sign of lack of respect, but dias, which was present in Paris alongside Rodri, minimized any impact of the incident.
“Being honest with you, I didn’t spend a second to think about it,” added the Portuguese defender.
“I was happy for Rodri. Vinicius had an extraordinary year and also deserved it. It’s like in the past when [Lionel] Messi and Cristiano [Ronaldo] were fighting for that.
