Gary Neville launched a scathing assessment of the current disappearance of Manchester United, insisting that they were “very worse” under Ruben Amorim only when Erik Ten Hag was in charge.
The last embarrassment of the Red Devils this season was given to them by Crystal Palace, who beat them 2-0 to Old Trafford on Sunday in what was their seventh defeat under Amorim.
United lost five of his seven home games since the appointment of the former CP manager in November, a series of concern for the Champions of the Premier League 20 times.
Amorim himself said that the current team could be the worst in the history of the club when he continues to try to implement his style on players without too much success.
And the former right back Neville thinks that the season could get worse before it improves for United.
“I thought it would be better when Ruben Amorim came, he said on The Podcast Gary Neville. “I thought that enthusiasm and the new system, I thought they would buy players there, and we would see a rebound.
“We have seen the absolute opposite. It has much worse and it’s surprising.

He continued: “But there will be much more pain towards the end of the season and it will be damaging.
“They will obviously stick to Ruben Amorim, but the more you lose, the more difficult it is to convince the players of the idea. The idea he talked about at first.
“You need the players to admit, but if they lose with it, and they continue to be criticized, the spotlights occur more and the fans leave badly.
“You cannot continue to lose. This will depress the thoughts of the players, to the point where they will lose faith with the idea.
“It will damage the start of next season. He has to do something. He cannot change his approach because he died in a ditch. And rightly so. I think he lost more games to Manchester United Since he has come to have lost in the last 75 times in Sporting. »»
Snub Hojlund and Zirkzee
Amorim raised the eyebrows against Palace when he chose to set up the hungry duo Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Hojlund in favor of the game of the Kobbie Main midfielder as a fake new.
He follows a public dispute with Marcus Rashford, who has since left the club at Aston Villa after Moror has questioned his commitment to the cause of United.
But Neville says that if the 39 -year -old man can be unhappy with the current team he has, it is important that he keeps his players next to here and the end of the campaign.
Sky Sports Pundit added: “He will not appreciate that, but I think he must simplify it. He might not like [Rasmus] Hojlund, he might not think [Joshua] Zirkzee is great or may not like other players. He must choose the players he has and stick to them.
“It cannot continue because he must start playing better, but where does he come from?”
“But I must say that at that time, it is a sorry situation, a very sorry situation when United plays.”
