Ancient Liverpool Defender Jamie Carragher gave Manchester United an F rating in his mid-season report. The Premier League season is almost halfway through, with clubs now preparing for the busy festive period. Carragher gave his former club Liverpool an A.

Carragher said he would have given Arne Slot’s side an A+ if they hadn’t dropped points at home Nottingham Forest and Fulham. Forest, managed by former Wolves manager Nuno Espirito Santo, received an A+ from Carragher for their impressive performances this season.

Liverpool currently top the table with 39 points while Chelsea and Arsenal they follow closely in second and third positions with 35 and 33 points respectively. Defending champions Manchester City received an E+, having lost six of their 17 matches.

Manchester United have been extremely poor this season and currently sit 13th in the table. They sacked former manager Erik ten Hag midway through the campaign and brought in Ruben Amorim from Sporting CP. However, the Portuguese have also found things difficult in the Premier League.
