Manchester United reveal staggering cost of Dan Ashworth’s short Old Trafford stay

Manchester United’s latest financial figures show that former sports director Dan Ashworth received a payment of 4.1 million pounds Sterling despite work at Old Trafford for only 159 days.

The details were revealed this morning when United States of United were submitted to the New York Stock Exchange.

It was already known that United paid 10.4 million pounds sterling in compensation to former boss Erik Ten Hag and his coaches staff when the Dutchman was dismissed in October, barely three and a half months after signing an extension of a one year contract.

An expensive error?
