Diallo United Statistics
Diallo joined United for £19 million from Italian club Atalanta in January 2021 and spent the second half of the following season on loan with Rangers in the Scottish Premiership.
Championship club Sunderland took Diallo, who can also play as a central or full-back midfielder, on loan for the entire 2023/24 season before making his breakthrough at Old Trafford last season.
Arguably the most memorable moment of his career came at Manchester City on 15 December, when he scored in the 90th minute in a 2–1 comeback following Bruno Fernandes’ 88th-minute equalizer, adding to his tally of nine goals in 50 appearances for United.
Fernandes is the only teammate of Diallo who can match his tally of six assists in the Premier League this season, with no other player in the squad having scored more than one goal in the league.
Portugal captain and striker Marcus Rashford both have one goal more than the three scored by Diallo during the league campaign.

Diallo: “Immense potential”
“I’m really proud to have signed this new contract,” Diallo said. “I have learned so much since I arrived here four years ago; I am very grateful to the coaches and staff who helped me develop, as well as the fans who kept me going every day.
United technical director Jason Wilcox – a former Premier League winner as a winger – said Diallo’s “quality on the ball, versatility and determination” made him a “key part” of the team from new manager Ruben Amorim.
“The best years of his career are ahead of him,” Wilcox added. “We all look forward to helping Amad reach his immense potential and succeed at the club in the seasons to come.”
