The Duchess of Sussex rang in the new year on the popular media sharing platform with a video in which she wrote 2025 by a beach.

However, Meghan sparked divorce rumors from Prince Harry as her title as Duchess on Instagram was written in a way reserved for divorced royals.

Meghan may have unintentionally sparked divorce issues with her return to Instagram because of the way she spelled her royal title.

Her beach video post has already grown the account to nearly 900,000 followers. However, one thing that has intrigued fans is that her headline on her Instagram page reads: “Meghan, Duchess of Sussex“rather than the more conventional”Meghan, Duchess of Sussex“, which she continues to use on her site Sussex.com.

This may seem like a minor mistake, but it gets people talking. According to News weekthe royal family uses this title format to indicate a divorced woman’s status, and Princess Diana and Sarah Ferguson have used it in the past.

The former actress even ran into trouble at Buckingham Palace during a 2020 screening after she was mistakenly listed as “Meghan, Duchess of Sussex” in a palace statement.

At the time, royal commentator Alastair Bruce said News from the sky“The palace has made an announcement about who the Duke and Duchess should be called. But this inadvertently gives all the wrong messages because, by convention, the style suggested is that adopted to express the divorce.”

“As a result, this will be re-examined and I am sure the expert, called Garter King of Arms, will be able to give you advice,” Bruce continued. “What was suggested was ‘Meghan, Duchess of Sussex,’ but putting the first name and comma before the title is the model for a divorced woman.”

Fans spot mistake in Meghan’s Instagram video

Meghan started the new year with a cheeky video post on Instagram as she returned from her 5-year hiatus with the popular video-sharing app.

The former “Suits” actress revealed a human side in her video, which delighted eagle-eyed royal fans who thought they filmed her more than once to get the “perfect” version.

The video saw her running barefoot toward the tide of a sandy beach to draw the near-perfect cursive New Year’s numerals, “2025,” in the sand. However, some eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice that she had apparently written the number more than once.

At the start of the clip, Meghan tries to find the best place to write the numbers, but her followers notice that she passes another “2025” writing in the sand, as well as a few footprints. The error is visible on the left side, perhaps hinting that she filmed it more than once.

The video, recorded by her husband Prince Harry, then showed her running away as she laughed.

A source close to Meghan said Harper’s Bazaar that his brand was “something more approachable…something rooted in his love of detail, of conservation, of accommodation, of the simple pleasures of life and family.”

The source added: “Meghan is busy creating something safe and timeless. And something that won’t be accused of relying on anything royal.”

The Duchess revealed the first trailer for her new Netflix show

Meghan is seriously planning to take over in 2025 by releasing the official trailer for her Netflix series, “With Love, Meghan.”

The show, linked to its lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, would focus on “cooking, gardening and entertaining.”

In the trailer, Meghan is seen engaged in various activities, including cooking and gardening. Several celebrities, like Mindy Kaling and the Duchess’s husband, Prince Harry, also appear in the trailer.

A source previously said Page six that 2025 will be a big year for Meghan, who has been working hard behind the scenes to ensure the successful release of her TV show and the launch of her lifestyle brand.

“It’s going to be a good year for Meghan in particular; she’s spent most of the year working behind the scenes to launch a project in the early months of 2025,” said an industry insider.

As the new year kicks off, the Duchess of Sussex previously revealed on her now-closed blog, The Tig, that she had two particular New Year’s resolutions that were on her list “every year.”

According to People Magazineshe pointed out that every year she plans to stop swearing and stop biting her nails.

“These are on my list of New Year’s resolutions almost (which is actually every) year,” Meghan wrote at the time.

“Swearing comes in lulls triggered by overwork or feeling insolent after a few drinks,” she continued. “And when it comes to nail biting, well, that always happens on a turbulent flight or a stressful day. It’s not very ladylike. But then again, so is swearing. Damn .”
