Melissa Gorga Fires Back After Teresa Giudice Shades Her Sprinkle Cookie Business!
Melissa Gorga retaliated Therese Giudice shady comment about her sprinkle cookie business after sister-in-law appeared to throw shade X (formerly Twitter), publishing an enigmatic “You’re welcome” just a day later.
Melissa didn’t hold back when asked about the comment during the December 18 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. “Well, she’s welcome for giving him someone to hate for the last decade.” Melissa joked, referring to his long-standing tension with Therese. “Then she’s welcome.”
Same host Andy Cohen recognized their tumultuous dynamic. “You both have done so much for each other,” he remarked, referring to their complicated family history.
Well done fans know this sprinkle cookie feud runs deep. The famous cookie debacle dates back to RHONJ Season 3, when Therese revealed why Melissa’s the dessert didn’t suit him – literally.
“She came to my house on Christmas Day, she brought me sprinkle cookies. I told him: “Melissano one touched the cookies you brought. I threw them in the trash. Do you know what my favorite cookies are? Pignoli cookies. That’s what I said. Therese told over the course of the season.
More than a decade later, Melissa re-appropriates the sprinkled cookie narrative with its new brand. The first orders shipped on December 12, just in time for the holidays. During her WWHL appearance, Melissa explained why she thought now was the perfect time to launch.
“Timing is everything, Andy. Timing is everything,” she shared.
“Everything happens for a reason, I really believe in that… I think people really miss [The Real Housewives of New] Jerseyso they’re so excited for that. I’m so happy that SprinkleByMG.com will be at everyone’s house for Christmas. I’m very excited, thank you.
The sprinkle cookie saga may have started as a family feud, but Melissa’s making it a business victory: one chic cookie at a time.
