Mohamed Salah kept the pressure on Liverpool this afternoon by posting a tweet featuring the big three players out of contract at the end of the season.

Salah’s tweet contained no words but was simply a photo of himself, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk, all three free to leave Anfield in June.

Salah’s choice of photo is unlikely to be a coincidence and he is publicly continuing his quest for a new deal to stay on Merseyside.

No progress, Salah said

The usually media-shy Egyptian has repeatedly said a deal has not yet been reached and just last week said he now plans to leave in five months.

“There is no progress there,” he told Sky Sports. prospect of extending his contract. “We are far from any progress. We just have to wait and see.

“What I think is if this is the last six months, what do you want to see in the future? Do you want to look back and say “I was worried or stressed about the contract”?

“Or do you just want to say, ‘I had an incredible season’? This is what I have in mind. If I ever feel distracted, I just remind myself that I want to look back and say I had an amazing season.

Another trophy

Salah said he was hoping to win another trophy during his time at Liverpool, who drew 2-2 with Manchester United yesterday, with the 32-year-old scoring one of the goals from the penalty spot.

“My motivation this year was to win a trophy and play an important role in winning it, especially in the Premier League,” Salah added, speaking of the team assembled by Arne Slot’s predecessor Jurgen Klopp, whose trophies include the 2018/19 Champions League. and Premier League 2019/20.

“There’s still half left [that] The team left like me, Trent, Virgil, Alisson, Robbo [Andy Robertson]. We need to win another trophy before we all leave.
