The Big Money Show reacts to the high cost of Disney Holidays and the affordability of medium -sized American families.
The Disney and Disney Entertainment Networks ABC group will dismiss a little less than 200 employees on Wednesday, Digital Fox News confirmed.
The cuts represent almost 6% of the group of Nouvelles ABC Total and the workforce of Disney Entertainment Networks. The majority of affected employees come from ABC News, according to a source knowing the reduction in staff.

“20/20” and “Nightline” will consolidate operations in a single group, with lost jobs accordingly. This occurs after announcing last fall that all the long units of ABC News would ultimately be a single leadership structure.
ABC News combines production teams for the three hours of programming marked as “Good Morning America” ​​in a unit supervised by Simone Swink. The third hour of the program, “GMA3”, had previously had its own production staff.

The Wall Street Journal, which first noted the layoffsadded that Disney is also in the process of closing 538, a political site focused on the date which had around fifteen staff members. Fox News Digital has confirmed that Disney was finishing the 538 brand and will offer a survey and analysis of political data under ABC News in the future.
ABC will also merger digital and social operations, integrating digital editorial and social teams with news, programs and possessed stations.

ABC News did not immediately respond to a request for comments.
