The Office of Humanity is a perfect example of how a solid idea reinforced by a strong cast can still fall flat if the scenario has a massive identity crisis. Although I cannot blame Nicolas Cage (who can?), Sarah Lind or Jakob Davies to understand the mission, I can most certainly blame the mission itself, which is a dystopian science fiction thriller that tries to explore and take off the existing crisis that is at his heart. Although we were talking about a single film with a single global intrigue, each passing scene gave me the impression of vanishing before I find myself and finding myself watching a completely different film at more than one opportunity.

So, it is The Office of Humanity value streaming? As long as it is available for free on Tubi, you really don’t have much to lose other than 94 minutes of your time.

A Dedicated bureaucrat in conflict by his conscience

The Office of Humanity

The Office of Humanity Focusing on Nicolas Cage’s agent Noah Kross, who works for the titular government agency to help direct their efforts to expel the masses to a refuge known as New Eden to start a new life. Responsible for assessing citizens on their global usefulness and their ability to be functional and to contribute to members of society, Noah goes through movements and ships families to an uncertain future for the good of Colorado’s well-government, Chester Hills (Mel Tuck). Violent altercation which claims his life.

In the impression that America is a sterile landscape from one ocean to the other made habitable following nuclear benefits, Noah continues her work. After leading to the country to assess Rachel Weller (Sarah Lind) and his son, Lucas (Jakob Davies), Noah has a second reflection on expelling them towards New Eden, who hinders his superior, Adam Westinghouse (Hugh Dillon), who put Noah under investigation without his knowledge.

Having reasons to believe that Lucas is his distant son, and learn that New Eden is actually a concentration camp When American citizens are burned to death as a means of controlling the population, Noah decides to flee the country with his two subjects, who are now fugitives in the eyes of the Office of Humanity.

Works until it is not

The Office of Humanity

The Office of Humanity Suffers from a serious identity crisis, which does not think is the fault of the talent of an actor involved. Nicolas cage Do an excellent job as a reliable but existentially conflicting hero, which helps to help Noah convince Rachel and Lucas to join him to flee the country. Sarah Lind and Jakob Davies also offer great performances, but if they simply read the script as written and go through movements as a cage, then there is not much actor talent to save this film. The scenario is simply too much in the place to say The Office of Humanity History effectively.

The same can be said for each character of The Office of Humanity.

For example, when Adam Westinghouse by Hugh Dillon realizes that Noah discovered the truth about New Eden, he pronounces “we are on the wrong side of history”, then does not change behavior at all. Aside from this single line of passing dialogue, his behavior does not change and his continuation of the fascia family under the direction of Noah never releases him. In fact, he becomes more Aggressive in his pursuit as if he had not only a moment of clarity which should have rethought his position of authority and change aside to help them along the way.

The Office of Humanity

I don’t want to say that I am angry with The Office of HumanityBut I am really disappointed because he has all the elements to make a solid dystopian science fiction thriller. But thanks to his inability to choose a way and stay there, I cannot say that I would recommend this one to anyone other than the unconditional fans of Nicolas Cage like me who want to see the man, the myth, the legend uses his immense acting talent to try to save a film which was condemned from the start.
