Japanese automaker Nissan Motor declared a 12.1% drop in annual shift in world production for February 2025.
Global company production has reached 2,37,982 vehicles. Production in Japan was 52,100 vehicles, down 13.2% compared to the same period a year ago, while production outside Japan totaled 185,784 vehicles, a drop of 11.7%.
In the United States, production decreased by 21.4% to 47,088 vehicles and increased 7.2% to 59,731 vehicles in Mexico.
The United Kingdom experienced a 12.8% drop with 25,764 vehicles produced, while China experienced a 3,5.6% drop to 24,890 vehicles.
Other regions have collectively produced 28,311 vehicles, reflecting an increase of 6.1%.
In terms of vehicle categories, the production of passenger vehicles amounted to 46,493 units, down 19.6%, while the production of commercial vehicles jumped from 143.1% to 5,705 units.

European sales dropped by 3.6% to 29,624 vehicles, while China experienced a significant drop of 24.7%, with sales to 31,508 vehicles. Other regions have declared sales of 43,625 vehicles, down 5.1% compared to the previous year.
In terms of vehicle types, sales of passenger vehicles decreased by 14.6% to 20,345 units, while sales of commercial vehicles increased by 27.4% to 4,693 units.
