Omeda Studios announced that his number of players had crossed two million while he is launching a new update of 1.4 for the action of the third person free MOBA predecessor.
PredecessorPatch 1.4 of his introduces the highly anticipated Boris as a hero playable for the first time. The reformed beast will dominate the battlefield, combining modern technology with primary force. Players will finally be able to discover its exciting range of capacities, in particular its powerful Rafale of Ursine – an ultimate capacity which allows Boris to load forward at the speed of lightning, to grasp the first enemy hero on his path and to slam them in the ground. The impact of this also sends shock waves, inflicting significant damage to enemies within range.
The number of players is impressive and validation for Omeda’s strategy, since the game returned from the dead. Epic Games began work on the title, then called Paragon, years ago, but closed it in 2018. But rather than closing it completely, the epic games opened the title, and creator Robbie Singh agreed to acquire it in 2021.

After four years of development (and 22 million dollars collected, some of which via a Brant of Epic Games), the Omeda studios of Singh finally launched the title in August 2024. The game made its debut on the PC, PlayStation and Xbox platforms and now has two million players on all these platforms. Following the success, the team went from around five to 10 at the start of development to more than 80.
As well as the long -awaited arrival of Boris, 1.4 will see the introduction of Loot coresA whole new way for players to get their hands on a wide selection of articles at stake. Loge nuclei can be obtained by fulfilling various challenges at stake and sharing seasonal and community events.
● There are two types of loot cores: ionic nuclei and quantum nuclei. The ionic nuclei fall common, rare and rare from the booty, while quantum nuclei fall to legendary booty.
● Both can drop amber, platinum and opals.
● The Opal Store allows you to spend opals, won by loot cores or event rewards such as battle passes.
● An ion loot core is available daily in the main store, bought with amber.
● The opening of 4 quantum loot cores in a row guarantees rare or higher skin if you have not already received it.
In addition to that, loot storms can also be obtained in the brand new Shadow Ops Battle Pass. The latest battle pass focuses on a new mysterious organization in the world of the predecessor and offers players more exclusive awards and up to 60 levels for those who buy premium upgrade. Many loot cores will also be available, giving players the opportunity to unlock objects for each hero of the game.
Patch 1.4 for the predecessor is planned for the exit at around 12:00 GMT, Tuesday March 11, 2025 and will contain several updates and corrective game content, including the implementation of vocal chat, textual cat upgrades and improving personalized match features. The other founders of Omeda include Andrea Garella and Steven Meilleur.
