Tommy Fleetwood says he “cannot complain” of his form when he continues to continue a first title of PGA Tour.
The Englishman won seven times during the DP World Tour, more recently at the Dubai Invitational in January 2024, but has not yet broken his duck on the North American circuit, with the closest that he came to the play-off to Nick Taylor at the Open of Canada 2023.
Fleetwood ended also 14th in the championship of players last week at TPC Sawgrass, his third successive Top-15 on the PGA Tour after obtaining a part of the fifth at Genesis Invitational, then at the end of the 11th at the 11th at Arnold Palmer Invitational.
The World No 9 will be the second highest classified player on the field of the VALSPAR championship from Thursday, behind the No. 3 Xander Schauffele, and says that the course at Innisbrook Resort in Florida is the one he likes to play.

Fleetwood said to Sky Sports golf podcast: “You can’t really complain too much finish where I finish.
“I am really satisfied with the consistency I am showing at the moment. I just have to find a little more of my game and my score to find myself at the right time.
“I hope I will be able to continue playing as I am and play the waiting game, continue to push and we will find ourselves up there when this moment comes.”
Fleetwood: Patience will be the key to the Valspar championship
As part of the VALSPAR championship in Florida, he added: “I love this golf course. I think you have to control your ball very well.
“I don’t think you can dominate this golf course with a length. I think you have to position your golf ball, try to keep it in game.
“If you are out of position, you must be patient and find a way to give you the best chances of making a peer without forcing anything. I think there are many demanding golf plans there.”
Fleetwood will participate in the VALSpar championship three days later His TGL Side Los Angeles Golf Club was eliminated in the semi-finals by the New York Golf Club of SchauffeleSlipping into a 6-4 defeat after being undefeated in the regular season.
Talk to Sky Sports Before this defeat, Fleetwood said that he and his teammates Collin Morikawa, Sahith Theegala and Justin Rose had treated the event seriously.
He added: “It was definitely very competitive. I loved the preparation we put in teams.
“It’s something new. It’s something fun. It is something that uses a wider audience, but at the same time, we have prepared so well. That’s all you can do.
“You can hit the right shots in the night where you might not.
“You always get these nerves that went down the section of a TGL match and try to win.”
