In a tragic case echoing the incident of Atul Subhash, a 25 -year -old computer professional ended his life, allegedly led to the edge of marital distress. Before making the drastic step, he left a video, accusing his infidelity wife and urging the authorities to recognize the difficulties that men are confronted.
Manav Sharma, a main process partner at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), recorded an emotional video before his suicide, blaming his wife and calling for stronger legal protections for men. The video, which has since become viral, highlights his anxiety about his marriage.
Manav married Nikita Sharma in 2024 in Agra. The couple moved to Mumbai in February 2025, but according to Manav’s statements, their relationship quickly became a source of distress. He alleged that Nikita was involved with another man, which pushed him in despair.
“It is for the authorities. The law must protect men … My wife was involved with another man … but what can I do? This no longer matters, “he said in the video.
He also talked about attempts at previous suicide, showing scars on the wrist and made a final plea: “Think of men. I’m sorry, everyone … they become very alone. His last words included a request: “Do not touch my parents after my death.”
The video surfaced on social networks on February 27, attracting the attention of the AGRA police. The DCP AGRA Suraj Rai confirmed: “By learning about the video, a case was recorded in the relevant sections within the framework of a complaint”. He assured that all the allegations would be investigated in depth.
However, the technician’s wife Nikita Sharma refuted all the allegations, declaring that Manav had fought against alcohol dependence and had already tried to commit suicide. She said he even discussed his difficulties with her parents.
