‘PM Modi or Mukesh Ambani?’: Nita Ambani’s tongue-in-cheek response during rapid-fire round at Harvard

The president of the Reliance Foundation, Nita Ambani, was one of the 90 speakers of the Harvard India Conference 2025 during the weekend. The annual global conference is a platform focused on students who explore the diversity of India through business, policies and culture.

After having delivered the opening speech to the conference, Nita Ambani participated in a quick interview on fire during a discussion by the fireside with Nitin Nohria, an academic and former dean of the Harvard Business School.

Among many, one of the questions was to choose between her husband, the president of Reliance Industries, Mukesh Ambani, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“I think Prime Minister Modi Ji is good for the nation, and my husband Mukesh is good for my house,” she said that the public applauded and applauded.

Nita Ambani also turned heads in a Parsi Gara Saree inheritance. Designed by the Indian fashion designer Manish Malhotra, he shared on Instagram that the Sari was relaunched by the renowned renown of Sare Zenobia S. Davar.

The annual conference has been a major place for over 22 years, which brings together experts from commercial, economic, educational and cultural experts in business, economics, education and culture.
