Qualcomm has launched a new platform that will bring Copilot+ PCs to more people. Snapdragon X, the latest addition to the brand Snapdragon which also include the X Elite and the XPluscomes with Qualcomm’s 8-core Oryon processor and an integrated Adreno GPU. The company claims it can run up to 163% faster than comparable competitor platforms, its neural processing unit can perform on-device AI tasks more efficiently, and it enables long battery life (even several days).
There are apparently more than 60 computer models powered by the platform in development and production from various manufacturers, including Acer, Asus, Dell, HP and Lenovo. These companies are expected to launch the first batch of Snapdragon X products early this year, with more than 100 models coming by 2026.
