The Rangers lost their advance of two goals in the first leg, but won a fascinating penalty shootout to eliminate Fenerbahce from Jose Mourinho to a bouncing Ibrox.

Jack Butland made two good stops during the additional period while the Turkish side seemed to end strongly.
But but Lland then saved well during the shooting of Fred and Dusan Tadic, before Mert Hakan Yandas made his effort on top to send the men of Barry Ferguson.
The Rangers will now play athletic bilbao in the quarter -finals.
A Triumpant Butland told TNT Sports: “We are something special. I wanted to put something for guys, I wanted to do it. You cannot overcome this feeling.
“We fully thought that we were going to do the work. The boys have deeply dug and this is the reward you get, that’s what fans deserve.
“We could have been more clinical but, my boy, we deserve it.”
