‘RIL has invested Rs 50,000 cr in Bengal, will double it by end of the decade’: Mukesh Ambani

Mukesh Ambani, president of Reliance Industries, announced that the conglomerate will double its investments in Western Bengal by the end of the decade. Ambani was expressed at the top of investments in Western Bengal, in the presence of Western Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee.

“The commitment of reliance towards the versatile development of Bengal remains unshakable. In 2016, when I attended this summit for the first time, reliance investments were less than RS 2,000 crore. Today, in less than a decade, our investments in Bengal have increased 20 times and we have invested more than 50,000 roots. We will double this investment by the end of this decade, “he said.

Ambani has also added: “More importantly, our investments have created more than 1 lakh of direct jobs and stimulated significant economic growth in Western Bengal.”

He said investments would be made in several sectors, including digital services, green energy and retail. Ambani also highlighted the role of reliance in the transformation of the Bengal commercial landscape.

The president of Reliance said it was the best time to invest in Bengal.

Bengal is witnessing a rebirth of the economy and business, he said. Ambani added that today Bengal means a vision for the outbreak, a powerful ambition and an effective implementation.

Ambani congratulates Mamata Banerjee for the summit. He said Bengal under CM Mamata Banerjee means business.
