Ronaldo scores in frustrating draw for 10-man Al-Alami

Al-Nassr and Al-Shabab played a 2-2 dramatic draw in Riyadh, the two teams constituting a hectic confrontation which saw goals, a red card and a Var drama.

The visitors struck the first in the 44th minute when Abderrazzaq Hamdallah converted a penalty, putting Al-Shabab forward. The penalty was granted after Daniel Podance was shot in the box by Nawaf Al-Boushail.

However, Al-Nassr responded almost immediately. Just before half-time, Ayman Yahya found the back of the net with a well placed left shot after a kick, passing the scoring to 1-1.

The momentum of the local team continued in the additional time when Cristiano Ronaldo produced a moment of magic, striking a difficult angle to put al-Nassr 2-1 forward.

The objective was first exposed to the attention of Var but was finally rewarded, giving al-Nassr the advantage before the break.

The second half started with Al-Shabab wishing to find an equalizer. Al-Nassr found himself in difficulty in the 52nd minute when Mohammed Al Fratil was shown a right red card for an imprudent challenge, leaving the hosts with ten men.

The digital downside finally wreaked havoc, and in the 67th minute, Mohammed Al Shwirekh capitalized on a well-delivered cross at the Guanca Cristian, returning home to do it 2-2.

The last stages of the match were filled with an end -to -end action, the two teams looked for a late winner.

Al-Shabab has moved forward, forcing crucial stops by the goalkeeper of Al-Nassr Bento, while Marcelo Brozovic and Jhon Duran had the opportunity to restore the advance for the local team.

Tensions have been raised in the last minutes, with several yellow cards emitted, including one for Wesley Hoedt from Al-Shabab and Jhon Duran of Al-Nassr.

After eight minutes of stopping time, the referee ended an electrifying meeting in Saudi Arabia.

While Al-Nassr can feel frustrated after abandoning an advance, a draw reflected a fair result.
