Ruben Amorim says that everyone at Manchester United is currently underperforming – including himself – and not only those highlighted by Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
The owner of the minority, Ratcliffe, has taken the unusual measure to discuss individuals in a series of interviews this week, declaring that some united players are “not good enough” and “outpayed” and referenced Casemiro, Antony, Jadon Sancho, Rasmus Højlund and André Onana.
This leaves that Murim had to face another unwanted problem when he tries to get the most out of a team that currently languishes in 14th place in the Premier League.
But the Portuguese spoke diplomatically when asked for Ratcliffe comments before the Europa League conflict tomorrow evening with Real Sociedad to Old Trafford.
He said: “Everyone is underperforming, myself and the players. We can always change this, I include myself in this part of the underperformance.
“You are talking about players like Casemiro who won everything. We know that these players can play so much better, that’s the goal. He was honest about it. The goal is to change your mind.
“Many people will say that you are not good enough for the club, but my feeling is that you can change this with results.
“In training, I think they really want so bad.”

Amorim satisfied with the support of Ratcliffe
A person who was supported by Ratcliffe was Amorim himself and he is grateful for support, adding: “It was really good from the first day. We are honest with each other. We have simple, clear and honest conversations.
“Giving me publicly support is really good for a coach. Since the first day, I have felt everyone’s support. »»
United obtained a decent 1-1 draw in San Sebastián last week And head to the second stage of their 16-tied round against Sociedad as a favorite to cross.
Winning the competition would see the club sneak in the Champions League and its importance is not lost in Amorim.
“We have a clear plan to approach next season,” he said. “We can always reach the Champions League, so you never know. He can change the preparation for next season.
“We have a plan and know what to do, in terms of the type of players to bring.
“This competition [Europa League] could change things [selling players] So we focus on this game. ”

Yoro excluded
United will again have to align a team weakened by the injury, although the return of Mason Mount to team training today has been a boost.
Sociedad’s game arrives too early for the English midfielder while Murim will also have to face without Leny Yoro, who was injured against Arsenal this weekend.
He said: “It is too early for Mason Mount, Leny Yoro came out, Harry Maguire cannot play this one, but I hope to have him for Sunday. Manuel Ugarte is on the team. »»
