Savannah Chrisley Reveals Her Family Didn’t See Parents’ Legal Issues Coming

After their guilt verdict, the reality TV couple, who became famous in the USA Network series “Chrisley Knows Best,” the 19-year-old sentence brought to the prison.

Since then, Savannah Chrisley has been opened on the pressure she felt to intensify and take care of those around her. However, during a new interview, she admitted that she had not seen the massive change that her family was going to face.

Todd and Julie Chrisley fought the accusations against them until they could no longer. Even after their guilty verdicts, the husband and wife duo continued to maintain their innocence, just like the rest of their family.

Chatting with PEOPLESavannah discussed the legal problems they encountered and admitted that everything took them by surprise.

“My family, in general, we thought it was going to end differently,” she said. “We really thought it would end differently. We had lawyers who had told us that it was going to end differently. We stood in the truth, and we were in what we knew how to be the truth.”

After reporting to the prison in 2023, Savannah became the legal guardian of her younger brother and sister, Grayson and Chloe Chrisley.

Savannah’s brother, 18, is a student at the University of Alabama and was in high school when his parents underwent their trial. According to Savannah, the young adult “had to grow so quickly”. However, the situation taught him precious life lessons.

“… All this situation has taught him how cruel the world can be and how you need to protect yourself. And as cruel as it was, it also kept this sweetness about it, and it is in therapy every week. I love to see the heart it has and how it is shown.”

Savannah could not be more proud of her younger brother, who was also frank on the legal misfortunes of her parents. The 27 -year -old star of reality revealed that in previous conversations, he even credited her to save her life.

“He says that. But I look at him, and I say to myself, he saved me more times that I cannot count,” said Savannah.

In 2023, Grayson appeared on his sister’s podcast, “unlocked” and shared how to travel in both directions to visit his parents while they are imprisoned “bitter”.

“I find it hard to go back for two weeks because I’m in a mood … and then I’m going to start again.

Grayson explained that he found the situation difficult because he wants to live his life, but he has trouble guilt not seeing his mother and father.

“It’s like, you are D-MNED if you do, D-MNED if you don’t,” said.

In addition to her younger brother, Savannah also admitted feeling sad for her sister, Chloé, whom her parents adopted from their eldest son, Kyle Chrisley.

“My heart, honestly, breaks for Chloe because Chloé did not have an easy education. Her organic parents have turned her back on her from a very young age”, she said. “When my parents took care of her, her biological father [was] Completely out of the image [and] mother [was] out of the image. It was their choice. “”

With the additional responsibility of his brother and sister, Savannah “had trouble” to join both ends. During a previous interview, the personality of television explained how to do “two children” surprised him. However, she moves forward for their property.

“So, between this, legal expenses to fight for my parents, I am like anyone else here. Of course, I put a smile on my face. I look at the role; I play the role. But that does not mean that I really am the role.

Consequently, Savannah has taken more work, in particular by selling real estate and appearing in other shows, such as “Special Forces” and “The Masked Singer”.

“I do everything that comes to me,” she added. “I’m not better than anyone here to have to fight.”
