Senegal: Ousmane Sonko's 2050 general policy statement, PM seeks to repeal Macky Sall's amnesty law

Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko addressed the National Assembly this Friday to present the government’s general policy. Sonko presented key reforms such as tackling unemployment and migration, guided by Vision 2050 which now serves as the executive’s roadmap for the country’s public policy. He also said his government would present a bill to repeal the controversial law granting amnesty to former President Macky Sall for three years of political violence that left dozens dead.
