About 300 North Korean soldiers were killed and 2,700 injured while fighting alongside Russia in Ukraine, a South Korean lawmaker said Monday, citing Seoul’s intelligence agency. Memos found on deceased soldiers revealed that they had been ordered to commit suicide rather than be taken prisoner.
