The Committee on Parliamentary Information Technologies plans a convocation for YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, also known as Beerbiceps, on its controversial remarks on the program “India’s Gott latent”. This action follows the complaints of several deputies and firsts filed against Allahbadia and the actor Samay Raina linked to the controversial episode.
The video was deleted from Youtube after the government has published an opinion because of its provocative content.
The members of the panel, including the deputy of BJD Sasmit Patra and the deputy Shiv Sena Priyanka Chaturvedi, are actively addressed to the situation. Chaturvedi criticized the use of an abusive language in the episode, emphasizing the significant influence of Allahbadia, having welcomed several politicians and received a prize from the Prime Minister.
“Any abusive language in the name of the comedy of content crosses the limits is not acceptable. You get a platform and that does not mean that you will say anything,” she said. The panel aims to solve the imminent problem, stressing the need to maintain the decorum on public platforms.

“It is extremely unhappy … I want more strict guidelines and stricter measures for such derogatory remarks,” said Patra, stressing the importance of responsibility in the digital media.
