He said he would love to strike a deal with the OYO founder as he brings wisdom and calmness and will work in that direction.
Rajpurohit also mentioned that the Nexera website saw a 10x increase in traffic after his episode aired. “We received 10x responses on our site after the episode, we saw a big increase in Shark Tank India and we are confident that we will reach double the revenue target.”
He also spoke about his experience on the show and said that everything, including the companies and names mentioned during the pitch, was presented after due diligence. The young founder then spoke about his website.
“Speaking of building the website, we’ve been evolving over the last three months and this is how we updated our website. Yes, they didn’t think it was right, but I’d still try to understand what was wrong.”
Furthermore, he said that investors, or as they are called “sharks,” are mentors to him. When he was kicked out of meetings as a child, he would learn from Ritesh and present his work, according to Rajpurohit.
He also reacted to boAt CMO Aman Gupta’s remarks after his pitch. Gupta had accused Rajpurohit of having “a hangover of success which is reflected in your third venture”. The young entrepreneur said the situation could have improved if Gupta had spent more time understanding.
